Just a little preview :)

I just shot this barn wedding at Where the Creeks Meet in Montreal, MO, and I can’t stop looking at the pictures, so I just had to throw them up on the blog real quick!

I’m sure I’ll add more as I get the full gallery finished, but these few (46 haha!) just jumped out at me to tell a quick little story of Morgan & Steffen's beautiful day at one of the most stunning small town wedding venues in Missouri.

Early Bird Gets The Worm.

I woke up at 5am and headed out the door to make it to Morgan and Steffen’s 10:30 AM wedding ceremony in Montreal, MO! It was about a 2.5 hour drive from my house to the mid-Missouri wedding venue, but I didn't mind the peaceful morning alone time and watching the sunrise.

I think this was the first wedding ceremony I’ve ever shot before 2 PM!

And the beautiful wedding venue with its cool summer morning air and pretty light made it the perfect setting for a breathtaking summer wedding day.

Just a little snippet I dont want to forget...This sweet, fun, happy little guy Asher.

We had so much fun together at his mom and Steffen's engagement session. I loved involving him in the pictures and I love the bond it gave us on the wedding day!

I remember when I took this picture at Morgan and Steffen’s wedding, I told his grandpa as he dressed Asher that one day I might be taking a similar photo at Asher's wedding day... 🥹

He said "oh man, don't even get me thinking about that right now"

After the tears shed during his first look with his daughter - I understood why he couldn't bare getting into that mindset on top of giving his daughter away. 🖤

first touch

The first touch is becoming more and more popular at wedding ceremonies and I am HERE FOR IT. 👏🏼

I love so much that Morgan and Steffen wrote letters to each other, read them in private, and then took a minute to be in each other's presence before their ceremony.

I truly believe it eases the anxiety and gives you your own private moment to say a prayer or take a deep breath together without sacrificing the traditional wedding first look at the altar.
