Best Places for Photos in Branson, MO
Branson, Missouri, is a top family vacation destination, and while there are lots of super fun attractions like Silver Dollar City, TITANIC Museum Attraction, White Water, The Aquarium at the Boardwalk, Dolly Parton's Stampede, and more, (shall I go on???) it's also known for its beautiful outdoor scenery!
Whether you're visiting on vacation or live nearby, there are so many amazing places for a photoshoot. And even if your not scheduling a photoshoot for this trip - you should still take a drive and check out the beautiful scenery the Ozarks has to offer! (and also reconsider and book your shoot with me! 😜)
Now lets dive into my favorite spots so you can check them out and see what best fits your vision for your families photoshoot!
I feel like this is a favorite amongst the photography community and why wouldn't it be?
There are convenient bathrooms, its a beautiful public place with walking trails and views of Table Rock Lake! There is great parking and very easily accessible for everyone!
I always pride myself in finding unique angles and locations within popular locations like I did with the Dekemper family for their Sunrise photoshoot pictured below!
Top of the Rock and Big Cedar Lodge are staples of the Ozarks. Its honestly perfect for everything- Rather its Senior portraits, a proposal, your wedding or even a family reunion activity...you can not go wrong!
I absolutely love photographing here! There isn't an ugly place on the property! I think the photos speak for themselves on this one! Kind of like, " A picture is worth 1000 words" type of thing!
I followed this family around on the Top of the Rock Lost Canyon Cave & Nature Trail during their family reunion in Branson and I love all the memories we captured! Here are just a few! I love this idea so much for a spin on the traditional family photos.
And of course its perfect for the traditional family portraits...
and my absolute favorite for a breath-taking, magical proposal.
I don't want to give out specific names because I don't want these locations to become oversaturated but man...The Ozarks and Branson area have some really great waterways and parks!
The landing itself is AMAZING for photos! I especially love it for Senior photos but its so fun and different for anything!
There's an urban feel that is somewhat rare in Branson. But there is also a walking trail that overlooks Taney Como down past the landing. It really gives a gallery depth without having to travel too far in-between locations!
I've only ever done a senior session here, but it would be beautiful for families as well!
You can't go wrong here! I mostly photograph at the lake when my clients are staying at a lakeside resort! Its an easy, fun relaxed option and always one of my very favorites, ESPECIALLY WITH LITTLE KIDS! (Trust me they will love it!!)
This is another one that I don't want to over saturate! If you really want to know reach out and I'll share with you but I promise if you just go for a drive and look around, youre going to find some absolutely beautiful backroads in the Ozarks!
I took this couple on a little Branson back road adventure while they were in town visiting from Arizona! They wore plaid shirts and said they were going all out in Branson Theme. We had so much fun together!

There's SO many options all of them are beautiful in their own way. I swear, I get to photograph magic all over this place. Missouri is extremely underrated sometimes...but that's the best kept secret if you ask me!
Overall, you can't go wrong- my best advice would be to pick a location based on your families needs, your vision and what best fits you! I'm here to help every step of the way!
